Re: Xbox 360 Repair
I have no personal experience with the XBOX or the RROD problem but I have watched a few videos related to "fixing" the issue ( XBOX 360 RROD Fix ). Before you attempt anything be 100% willing to own an XBOX shaped brick. Granted the XBOX is broke now and if you fail it's still broke but i...

Re: Sticky web pages...
A non-functioning back button is often the result of what many consider to be poor web design. What typically causes this is a meta or header redirect that takes you somewhere other than what you originally clicked. When you click the back button your browser is pointed to the redirect page which ju...

I agree it does look like a bayonet base. Though I've never seen a neon bulb with that type of base, neon would still be my guess. I know some motorcyclists use neon bulbs as spark plug wires -> Neon Spark Plug Light

Re: Where to get Transparent Paper ?
I can't help you find the transparency paper (maybe a teachers supply store) but I can say I've used magazine paper and it works great. I print a circuit design on to a page I've torn from a magazine, place the toner side of the print toward a freshly cleaned board and iron it. After about thirty se...

Re: switch users, how does it work??
I'm having a hard time remembering where it is but it is on a Sharing tab of the Properties of something and the checkbox reads "allow other users to share my internet connection" I'll post back if I can remember where the heck that checkbox is. That option is available in WinXP when you ...

Re: Summer Starts And So Does The HVAC Trouble
Replacing an older system with a non OEM compressor or coil could be dicey since the coil, compressor and air handler must be matched for maximum performance, and, if you don't replace it all, there could be lots of finger-pointing when something doesn't wok right. Freon 12 and 22 is still availabl...

Re: Summer Starts And So Does The HVAC Trouble
Unfortunately it looks that way. The refridgerant our system uses is as of Jan this year a banned substance (well not completely until 2015 or 2020, I forget which). While you can still install and service the units most manufacurers have already stopped production. Unless we can find a no longer ma...
