Re: Source Of Quality Replacement Li-Ion Batteries?
These batteries seem to be the best deal I can find http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6979. Anyone have personal experience with TrustFire batteries? The name is a bit disconcerting. I also found these http://www.batteryjunction.com/2600pcb-18650.html they're about twice as much but each bat...

Source Of Quality Replacement Li-Ion Batteries?
I'm trying to rebuild a Sony laptop battery and I'm looking for a source of inexpensive replacement Li-Ion cells. The battery pack is a Sony model VGP-BPS2A with a 11.1VDC 4400mAh rating. There are six cells inside, two cells in parallel with the three sets connected serially. The cells are marked U...

Re: USB gone awry
I think DVD+/-R's or an over the network transfer is the way to go. I'm sure there has to be a solution but it might not be worth your time or loss of hair to find it.

Re: USB gone awry
I've not run across an issue like this in my dealings with computers so I did some Googling to see what I could come up with. These results http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=xp+usb+drive+not+formatted+error seem to suggest that what you're experiencing is not an isolated incident. Unfortunate...

Re: Where to put jumpers on a hard drive for slave?
In my experience jumper configuration is non-standardized and varies on a drive by drive basis. As psycho said there "should" be markings somewhere. Sometimes the markings on are the plastic connector, top drive label, circuit board solder mask and so on. As far as I know there is no rule ...

Re: virus software
I'm sure I DO NOT HAVE all the virus's it says.. 100% correct....... of course now you're infected by the malicious anti virus software though. To me trying to clean an infection is not worth spending any money so I'll recommend a few free options. If you know your way around a computer I would boo...

Scope probes, pricier means.........
I'm in the market for a second Oscilloscope probe and I'm having a tough time deciding what to get. I found this probe http://www.virtualvillage.com/100mhz-1x-and-10x-oscilloscope-probe/sku001482-001 which seems to be a great deal but I'm missing something it would seem. What does more money get you...
