Now thats what I call an explanation! My head exploded the first time, I got up, re-read it (had wrapped tape around my head to stop explosion  ) That said, I was able to get Black and White working. The actual "bit banging" is simple, but man oh man, it's all about the timing! I was...

Basic question about cap's

Hi all, I have a circuit that calls for a 250uf cap, and a 0.05uf cap. I own none of these so I need to purchase. Now.....looking around, I can find a 0.05uf cap thats $1.40 per!!! Rated at 1000v. But there is a 0.047uf rated at 50v for $0.09 per (more like it!), and I cannot find a 250uf. Quesiton,...

Since the VGA plug is polarized, a manufacturer would need to make 4 directions of right angle adapters to satisfy the market (not a good investment IMO). Those BASTARDS! Don't they know it's me?! I should be all they care about. Thats a good idea about an external hub, I did not think ...

Right Angle VGA adapter

Hi all, I'm looking for a right angle vga adapter. I have a laptop, and I need to plug an external monitor to it, but the vga/cable is right next to my usb connections, and its causing space issues. I need to move the vga to the RIGHT, assuming I am looking at the vga connector on the computer direc...

I think the BH would not bounce in and out of the Earth. I think it would move the Earth into it. And yes, Galaxy Quest is the best SciFi out there! Funny stuff...he he he. I've been pondering many things the last few weeks, Black Holes, Entanglement, Super Strings, etc.; and I've come to the conclu...

100% OT! Blackhole question(s)...

Hi all, I just watched a straight to DVD movie "Black Hole", not the Disney one. In this story, some scientests create a blackhole (and a bad guy that comes from it, but thats here nor there) and it starts to suck things in. Okay, from the little I've read about blackholes, here are some q...

Wire wrap tool question

Hi all, I do alot of wire wrapping using a hand held tool (looks like a jewelers screwdriver) with 30 gauge Kynar wire (it comes in pretty purple... ) Now this is all fun and dandy, BUT, I think a faster tool is needed. Can anyone recommend an automatic wirewrapping tool? You know, auto strip...

what you have is correct. If it doesn't ring, it's because the ringer is broken or disconnected or the clapper is restricted. the clapper looks fine...I think the ringer may be the issue... Whats the best way to check this? Can I just put some volts on the connections and make the magnet work manua...
