Re: January 2013 Gravimeter
Another thing that bothered me about this project was the use of a DAC just so the author could connect it to his datalogger.

January 2013 Gravimeter
Could you guys give a little better description of the construction of the sensor in this project? There was no good picture or diagram and the article didn't describe the placement of the wires. The only picture shows only two wires coming from the sensor, but the article says there are four wires.

Re: Can't find back issue
I looked through it and unfortunately that wasn't the article. The one I am thinking of was about adding a few binary channels...like to turn on lights and whatever on the plane.

Re: Can't find back issue
I searched and didn't find what I was looking for.
I'll check it out, though, thanks. Offhand, it doesn't look like the article I remember.

Can't find back issue
I remember seeing an article a few years ago in N&V about adding digital channels to an RC transmitter/receiver. I can't locate the back issue, though.
Anyone remember this?

Re: Subscription problems
I'm bitching because I never got November's either. I hope they do the honest thing and extend my subscription, refund the money, or mail the missing issues.

Re: Interface with MMC
I've interface MMC and SD cards to a PIC. The links provided above show how easy the interface is with SPI. To read the data on a PIC, however, you need to write to the card in FAT format. This means that you'll need to read the FAT spec from Microsoft. I've seen libraries for FAT available for a fe...

Subscription problems
Anyone else have problems with their subscription? I never received November's issue, despite customer service saying they mailed me another issue. That was a month ago. And I haven't received December's issue either now. I'm paid through February and they don't answer any of my emails. I hate to re...
