electric motor question

I inherited a wood jointer from my dad. It is a six incher and was wired for 220. I don't have 220 in the garage, so I changed it to 110. It runs for maybe 1 minute, slows down rapidly and then stalls out completely. I wait for a few seconds and then turn it back on. It does not trip the 20 amp brea...

electroplater question

I have an electroplater with a constant 3 amp current. I need to be able to reduce the current to as low as 1/10 amp under certain circumstances. What can I add to anode line to control as well as meter current?
