Every one that looks at a digital display know a six is not a b. Displays that use single bulbs or led clusters dont lean. Printed letters dont lean. I was watching some men and women shoot skeet this weekend with their loud loud shot guns and noticed that they had on ear muffs. I make a large 2 digit display, 5.5inches wide by
9 inches high. It has a four button controller: up,down,enter, and reset. It can be used in the open sunlight as well as indoors.

Ok Guys, Thanks for the help. I decided to go with one second on the hold time for the selonoid.<p>Now another.. I want to use a micro controller to fire a SSR that will apply 120 volts ac to a selonoid that will pull a latch that opens a gate. The micro and SSR is 50 yds or so from the selonoid. Question: Is a 1/4 second turn on of the SSR long enough to insure a solid pull of the selonoid to pull the latch. ...
