I've used this one in the past. It's pretty decent.

Here's what I don't like about this and many other threads. I don't see the need to continually bash anyones education, knowledge or work history. We don't know each other and have no way of knowing what anyone else knows. Does education really matter? Does it matter where I have lived? Does it matt...

Al, I'm just a broken record here but when some one continually insults, taunts and so on, they should be banned. Yes, we can all take the high road but it only takes one person to react to the troll and the thread slides downhill. We know the troll won't change after multi thousand posts. Trolls g...

I'm so glad I came here for electronics discussion. I could not think of a better place to enjoy a unimpeded flow of ideas and knowledge. This forum used to be that place. But for at least the last few days, every thread becomes a contest. Chests out, trying to be the bigger, smarter man. I know I'm...

So Chris is saying that the only way warehouse work will get done is by robot or by illegals???

From my experience in the electronics industry I subscribe to haklesup's theory, receive, break down, count, repack, relabel, stock, then pick and pack for shipment.

I don't have satellite TV so I can't comment directly on that. But I have an XM radio. My back yard which is on the south side of my home is full of oak trees. So many that it's a canopy of leaves and very little sunlight gets through. Because of the trees my signal is low. I suspect it's because of...

I guess I like more in depth than Alan Colmes. But you watch CNN (Clinton News Network) and they have "fair and balanced" news. Face it, none are fair or balanced. But you are clearly liberal. Tie dye your shirt and pass the peyote. Oh yeah, and don't forget you as a liberal, get to determ...

Ok So I get lost here and you need to let me know. You are giving me a typical response where you blame man for everything. Is that liberal or conservative I forget?? Or does it really matter, Maybe it's you who's head is in the sand Maybe you are the "sheep" Maybe your ear is being pissed...

I'm not and never have said we should ignore any issues. I agree we should all as humans live as efficiently as possible and do as much as we can to take care of earth since it is our home. All I'm saying is if you can't walk the walk don't talk the talk. People who live in glass houses shouldn't th...

I agree we should be good stewards of the earth and use the resources we have as efficiently as possible while striving to minimize the damage we impose. I also think there are hypocrites on both sides of the debate. I believe that most of the high profile people who are pushing an eco friendly life...

I found a report on http://www.nationalgeographic.com titled "New Ice Core Reveals 800,000 Years of Climate History" The very first line of this report is "Earth's polar temperature has swung wildly—by as much as 15 degrees Celsius (27 degrees Fahrenheit)—over the last 800,000 yea...

I have heard the phrase "engineer by trade, not by education" That could be interpreted in a couple of different ways. Engineer by experience being one way, or engineer by title only could be another. I fall into the engineer by experience group. Like ian, I did not have the means to atten...
