i need help with a Frequency formula

Im desinging a curcuit that calls for oscillation and PWM so i decided to use the LM556, however the frequency (of oscillation) formula(s) i have, have left me scratching my head. One book says the formula is: 1.44/(Ra+2Rb)/Ct another book says its: 1.44/(RA+2Rb)Ct Which is it? do i divide or multip...

Re: Another ROV Question -Tilt

why dont you try something alittle more stable. no moving parts. The ADXL210 is a low cost, +/-10 g, dual-axis accelerometer with a digital output, all on a single monolithic IC. The ADXL210 will measure accelerations with a full-scale range of ±10g, making it suitable for tilt measurement. -from An...

LM18245

Has anyone used this curcuit?
im interested in using it to run motorson an ROV(the thrusters) im building.
Can this curcuit be used "stand alone" or does it need to be used in conjunction eith a microcontroller?<p>im just curious as to what others think of this curcuit.
