Re: sirius radio question
It was amazingly easy to install the antenna wire for my sportster. The wire diameter is, well... tiny. It slid right under the rubber lip around the doors and windows until I could sneak it out through the trunk opening. No kinks were encountered. It's teflon coated... that stuff is nearly indestru...

Re: Etchant solution
I've used this method for years and have grown to like it WAY more than using Ferric Chloride. I've been making my own boards since 1977 so I'm no stranger to Ferric Chloride bit it was starting to have a lot of items in the negative column for me so I was thrilled to discover the Muriatic Acid/Pero...

I'm only a long term customer saying I get good service and I'm happy with my choice.....

Apparently they won't go withn 100 Miles of of a FRY's. (fry's is better than CompUSA and RadioShack under one roof.) Not by alot... by by enough to make me prefer to shop there... which I guess works for them. We used to have like 5-10 Compusa's in the Atlanta regional area... now the nearest store...

A neat way to plan out these boards would be to use the software tool from these guys. (LOCH is the German work for HOLE)

I use a few of their products and really like how they work.

Ahhh... Poly Paks... <SNIFF> My very first mail order experience. And it was ALL good. I agree that Fry's has loads of nice stuff. I was able to find a killer selection of SMD proto boards and related stuff... but that's not what I wnt there for. I still had to order what I wanted from BG MICRO, JAM...

HEHE Somewhere in my collection of schematics I have a full schematic (no EPROM source code) for a 80's era, MC6809 based, controller for a small scale production injection machine. I seriously doubt it's a good idea to start with a MC6809 now, but the concept on this commercial controller was simpl...

Electronics has changed so much that it is probably not profitable for Radio Shack to carry 2N2222's just because 1 in 10,000 people might have a week-end project. ...and get it right. Everything is not for sale just because of DC. It's because the capitalist system, by design, does not see country ...

You know. Eagle can be overkill if you just want to draw a quick schematic.

Re: RVK users group
Yes, I'd be interested Dave.<p>I hadn't paid much attention to RVK Basic until this week but after looking it over for a few minutes I find it pretty clever.<p>It took me about 5 minutes to write some code to test a 4 digit 5x7 "intelligent" display I got from BGMicro, note: the specs are ...
