found the issue... APC is weird.. the drive transistors ( 2 paralleled ) were open.. tiny SMT types, i replaced both with 1 beefier transistor, there is also 2 blocking dioads in parallel as well.. anyway, the issue is fixed..I also took the opportunity to add in another fan with stand alone thermal...

Re: Copper clad Al wire

LENP >> Yup,,stranded AL wire / cable is fine with houses,,it's the single stranded stuff that was the hazards..heating , cooling, expanding, contracting..caused a lot of loose connections, then arcing begat fires..

Re: Compressor problem

I'm not too much a fan of dry compressors..the teflon compression ring wears out too fast, and then they are noisy as hell..
i'd love to have me an oil type of compressor one day.. I think i'll buy me one whenever my current freebie 20Gal dies.
right now it works just fine.. just noisy..lol

Re: Adafruit 1.2" led display

ok,, I'm mainly looking for displays that'll mount directly to the adafruit backpack boards..
I contacted that Arrow company you mentioned, and i'd have to set up an account.. i'll do that as a last resort,, waiting to see what else pops up..
Thanks for your time...
