LENP >> Yup,,stranded AL wire / cable is fine with houses,,it's the single stranded stuff that was the hazards..heating , cooling, expanding, contracting..caused a lot of loose connections, then arcing begat fires..

does this motor have a centrifugal switch for the start phase ? it could be faulty..have seen some that wouldn't open the start phase..the over current would be activated by that..or if the switch wasn't closing to kick in the start phase,, and the run phase was being overloaded. and other issue cou...

when i was trying to check out they wanted me to create an account before i could pay...
and they don't do PP either..

I'm not too much a fan of dry compressors..the teflon compression ring wears out too fast, and then they are noisy as hell..
i'd love to have me an oil type of compressor one day.. I think i'll buy me one whenever my current freebie 20Gal dies.
right now it works just fine.. just noisy..lol

ok,, I'm mainly looking for displays that'll mount directly to the adafruit backpack boards..
I contacted that Arrow company you mentioned, and i'd have to set up an account.. i'll do that as a last resort,, waiting to see what else pops up..

I been using these neat little displays for my GPS clocks. Well, the green displays have been discontinued. Only red is available. The driver boards can be bought alone as well. Does anyone know where i might find some led displays that would be compatible with the boards ? I can't seem to find anyt...

well the thing is,, also having the ability for others ( the guys in our group) to log into like gmail, and they can post their days off etc, or post notes/ events/ meetings etc. having a monitor isn't an issue right now.. a touch screen would have been better, i'm still working on this,, it's just ...

I had a radio kick my butt before.. everything checked out,,but sound never came out of the unit..headphones worked fine.. come to find out the headphone jack was the issue..there's 2 switches inside that thing. 5 connections.. one side wasn't making connections.. did some fiddling around and cleani...

It looks like it'll be more trouble than it's worth...I guess this will go into the recycle bin.. the battery is weak as well..
