Re: Compressor problem

does this motor have a centrifugal switch for the start phase ? it could be faulty..have seen some that wouldn't open the start phase..the over current would be activated by that..or if the switch wasn't closing to kick in the start phase,, and the run phase was being overloaded. and other issue cou...

Re: Compressor problem

I'm not too much a fan of dry compressors..the teflon compression ring wears out too fast, and then they are noisy as hell..
i'd love to have me an oil type of compressor one day.. I think i'll buy me one whenever my current freebie 20Gal dies.
right now it works just fine.. just noisy..lol

Re: Adafruit 1.2" led display

ok,, I'm mainly looking for displays that'll mount directly to the adafruit backpack boards..
I contacted that Arrow company you mentioned, and i'd have to set up an account.. i'll do that as a last resort,, waiting to see what else pops up..
Thanks for your time...

Heyyy Janitor >>> That Arrow.com has what i need.. Thanks.
Wish i could find some white or blue ones..but i don't think they would operate from 5v.
I've seen the smaller ones that did operate on 5v.

Re: off grid solar project

I've built a few of my own DC led lights. with good results. I'm sure you could hack any AC led light to run off of DC. I didn't like the stock bulb dome lights in my van, i tried the led replacement leds, they just didn't give enough light, and the color was an icy cold blueish light. So, i took so...

It looks like it'll be more trouble than it's worth...I guess this will go into the recycle bin.. the battery is weak as well..
a charge doesn't last long at all..
