Thank you for offering to help. I have since figured out the cause. I had an obstruction (accumulated fly ash) in the vicinity of the combustion fan. I cleaned the area out completely and am back on line. Have a great day.

I have a Whitfield Advantage Plus. My stove auger has become super temperamental. It will not tolerate a heat output setting higher than "1" for any reasonable length of time before it stops working.
