Please tell me more of your problem? What happens if you go beyond the #1 setting? Does it dround the fire out? Its sounds like a combustion air problem of sorts to me. If the fire can't keep up with the feed of pellets then you don't have enough air flow. Assuming the fire is drounding out. Only 2 ...

I would donate to Wayne, however both U4 & u5 are now bad on mine. Due to poor troubleshooting! I shorted the good one to 110 accidental! These "IC's" U4 & U5 are not of a common breed. It is a ZIP style package more than anything. It has 8 normal pin size legs with 2 larger for a ...

Wayne, I'm also a proud owner of a non-working Whitfield Advantage II!! My convection or room air blower quit working on mine. The week point on these older (knob) style boards seems to be either U4 or U5 microcontroller. I desoldered U4 which is for the convection blower and swiched it with U5. My ...
