I'd like this to run on batteries, so I can place it anywhere. I took a quick look at solenoids - they seem to run on 12V or so, I was hoping to run it on a 6V AA batterypack.<p>I have disassembled the camera, and think that a small relay would do the trick or possibly a transister as a switch? Hey all, I'm looking for a (simple?) switch. Here's what I am doing:<p>I purchased a cheap digital camera and a PIR motion detector sensor.
