Re: Design Using Op Amp
Russ, I appreciate your reply, and please forgive me for not responding earlier. I was able to find the circuit in an Electrical Engineering textbook. The circuit is known as a "Howland" current source. It is actually a Voltage Controlled Current Source. In fact, I was able to discover it ...

Design Using Op Amp
I am looking for a good circuit design analysis online of a Voltage-controlled current source (vccs) and a bridge amplifier using op-amps.<p>The vccs would be in the configuration of a feedback resistor and an input resistor that is referenced to ground, with their intersection wired to the invertin...

Re: DVD Trouble
Thanks for the feedback on the DVD problem. I agree with the two replies about the cost of parts and what is available today for the same money. This DVD is a Sony Model DVP-S560D, and as usual, Sony typically add future enhancements that you don't find in low cost sets. The DVD player hasn't been u...

Re: Oscilloscope Setup
Thanks for the feedback, but I do have the oscilloscope connected to an isolation transformer. The isolation transformer is 120V/120V(US) with a three prong plug. The earth ground lead is passed from the isolation transformer to the scope chassis. If I use a two prong adaptor on the scope ac power co...

Oscilloscope Setup
I am trying to setup an oscilloscope to view waveforms on a television receiver. The television has a switching regulator power supply with the input waveforms on the chopper transformer as well as the voltage regulator referenced to signal ground (hot), while the output waveforms on the chopper tra...
