Re: Transistorized water flow?
When your neigbors water their lawns the water pressure will drop. When they don't it goes up. I almost watered my convertable because of this. Sprinkler adjusted when pressure was low. Pressure went up and so did the water.

Sensing the temperature isn't going to work. It isn't taking in humidity at that temperature. Imagine a 75* day thats raining? Or one that is close to raining. There isn't any feedback but a whole lot of finagling to get it tuned. Sense the water level and have that sensor open/close a valve. It does...

http://pub42.bravenet.com/forum/show.php?usernum=3548766086&cpv=1
Had a short thread on this (quite a while ago) and it was very cheap. Most of them were doing soft stuff foam and plastic but just beefing it up should work. Aluminum isn't too hard. The thread and links had both kinds. The ta...

Re: Charging 12V Battery while riding Bicycle
Another way to do this is a rube goldburg. Use the 6 volts to power a 6v motor. This drives a 12 volt motor which outputs 12 volts(actually slightly less due to loss). Speeds still need to be matched but its now an electic transmission so to speak. Just step the speed up a bit with gears or choose t...

Not sure but I think Nuke subs do this. This is how they get their oxygen but not sure if they also get water from this method or not. Recombine the Oxygen and Hydrogen since they have the power.
BTW pure water has a dielectric strength of 40Kv. I remember because I read it as 14 KV and built a sp...

Mr Bwtz Your blowing the circuit since it is overloaded. This is common in Kitchens where a toaster and other items are being used all at the same time, eventually the total load is higher than the fuse or breaker is for. The mystery item is probably the refrigerator. Off now but kicks on- the load ...

Re: H bridge mosfet choice?
Thanks for the leads I'll have to do some more search and learn. I haven't studied the H-bridge just assumed to copy it :D Thats why I was stumpified by the amp/wattage deal.
Do need reverse though. A motor in each sponson is the setup and on-off- reverse is the only control over them. No steering...

H bridge mosfet choice?
The motor drives for my boat are about 3 hp x 2 and this means 200 amps at 12 volts! I can't find any pre-schematic and not sure how to choose a mosfet for this power level. Does the thing need to be rated for this 200 amps or less? If this don't work I'll use plan A and have servo controlled switch...
