I am not sure about the current. Probably 1 to 2 Amps. And variable voltage up to 25 or 30 volts.

Ok, I checked it with a scope. The tach outputs a saw-tooth wave. Now the question is how do I interpret that with my microcontroller? Should I go through the A-to-D converter? I am using an HC12 board, the DP256 version.

I am looking to purchase a benchtop power supply(preferrably dual variable outputs, max. 30 V DC). Can anyone recommend a good and cheap power supply and a place to purchase it? Thanks.
