Is there a meter that I can hook into an antenna system to see what channels I can pick up? Or how strong the channels signal is?
Thanks

Power circuit on Dell XPS M1330
Troubleshooting incoming power circuit on Dell XPS M1330. I don’t have a print of the motherboard. I replaced the power jack on board and have power through it. Need to know where to go from there.
Thanks,
Brad

Is there an adhesive product that will attach a solder pad or a trace to the board, and be able to take the heat of soldering?

Desoldering Temperature
I just bought a used Hakko 472D desoldering station. Never used one before. What is a proper temperature setting for desoldering? And I’ll take any other advice you got.
Thanks,
Brad

What are vias? This is a MPU from a 1978 Bally Pinball machine. Had some corrosion from a leaky battery.
What about the silver epoxy? http://sra-solder.com/product.php/6500/8 Anyone used this before.

I was doing some desoldering and a couple of solder pads came off. Is there away to put new ones on? Or some other idea?

Brad
