Is anyone out there using Voip, and if so, how is it working out?
Thanks for any answer forthcoming.

Hello all. My storage drawer for digital IC's has a small number of CD4511B chips in Plastic Dip's. Can anyone tell me how the ting is supposed to be connected to feed a digital clock? The pins that feed the 7 segments are well marked on the Manufacturers spec sheet, but it does not say how it blank...

Re: processor preferences?
Regarding programing Pic's, I've been using a Microchip "Picstart Plus" programmer. However, I have just run into an unexpected problem. The Picstart Plus seems to be limited in the size of the program it will handle. My program consists of 96 lines of code, including a look up table, and ...

PIC's for stepper motor drive.
Being new to Programming, I am wondering if a Pic 16F84 is adequate for operating a stepper motor? The 18C452 chip which Microchip reccomends, is a monster, and far more than I would think would be required. I have the Picstart Plus programmer that Microchip sells, but the complications involved in ...

Does anyone out there have the code necessary to program a Pic 16f84 to operate a servo motor. I believe the motor requires a series of 1ms pulses to run cw, and 2 ms pulses for ccw, and 1.5 pulses to return to center. I have the programmer and the motors, but haven't a clue how to write that code t...

Re: Diode or no diode?
Not being an expert on those motor drivers, I would be inclined to include the diodes. If there is already a diode in the MosFet, they would be in parallel, so it probably wouldn't cause a problem, whereas, without any diode, the motor may be in serious trouble.
