You can check at your local radioshack for some pots that have two setts of these three prongs, audio pots. you can also get some much better and nicer panasonic caps, these are quite good for amps and such.here

im no expert at this but how about using a AD509 from maxim, also from maxim is the ICL7106 to make a temp display. a schematic is found @ http://ib.cnea.gov.ar/~electronica/bibliografia/FN3171.pdf for a temp sensor with a 3 1/2 digit led display. if this applies, you can simply put it in the range ...

is there any advantage with using ceramic, tantalum, electrolytic etc capacitors. any prefered use for any of these or can they be easily interchanged.<p>ivan

i have quite a few ceramic caps and am unaware of their values. on them are values such as 10, 103,203, these are green. i also have some tan ones that have numbers such as .001,.05,.002 and underneath these are the initials of AEC(manufacturer i suppose). how can i determine their values with tihs ...
