Re: Socket Programming
Thanks Greg. I especially liked the "Sockets in Java" link. It was a bit shorter than the others but more down to the point.

Re: Robot Control
The FCC has laws on what fequences can be used for. Its like transmiting on your local police frequency. You can't just pick and choose what frequency you want to use. Visit www.fcc.gov to see what will happen if you transmit on the wrong frequency. I really don't care if I use an airplane frequency...

Re: Robot Control
The FCC will be after you. Local HAMs would track the interferance to your location and the FCC would be knocking on your door with a fine.

Re: Video Camera Detector Schematic?

Somethimes these cameras can HELP you. What happens if you get mugged and nobody is around, other than a hidden camera and ...

Yea, I have one of those flyswaters. I kill the flies, set them on the foor, give them one more charge and they start to spin. Smoke stinks up the room a little though. I have been trying to find a schematic for one of these but keep turning up with the schematics for the ones that hang.

I have just built a simple bot and need RF control (like for a race car). All I need to control is the motion of the motor. Where would I be able to find a schmatic on this? I just took apart 2 old childrens walki-talkis and retrieved 2 45 mhz. crystals from them. Would I be able to use these at all...
