Sorry dean, i gotta disagree with you on the discription of tubes.<p>In my opinion, as an avid guitar player and lover of old tube amps, i can hear the difference between certain tubes if comparing their warmth....etc. It does make a difference.<p>But w.r.t. caps, hogwash!!

Well, I am ready to take the plunge. Can somebody, or perhaps lots of people, recomend what type of microcontroller they perfer? Which type of Stamp?? Any help would be appreciated. Stamps preferably due to the articles in nuts and volts and poptronics. Also, where do you recomend I purchase my pic....

You should check out the Nuts and Volts back issues for a circuit, controlled by a pic, that will do the job. I'll get the issue number for you later.

You can buy an Impedance matching transformer cable at any electronics or music store to allow the adaption of an unbalanced, high impedance signal (line level) to a balanced, low-impedance level (mic level). TV Question
Hey. I have 2 old tvs, around 2 years old, one is a citizen and the other a RCA that experience white out conditions from time to time. What could be the cause? What should i check. It looks like the cable is going but other tvs are not affected.
