i know cat 5 is used for computer networking and i'm pretty sure cat 3 is your everyday standard telephone line.<p>if i'm wrong somebody please tell me.<p>there isn't a home depot close to where i live and i've never actually gone out looking for cat lines.

I'm using the 12F629.<p>I did check my power supply and it puts out 20vdc even though it says 16vdc on it.<p>I'm trying to program the PIC while it is on the epic board and not in circuit.

i don't have any but lsdiodes.com sells a 5mm 12,000 mcd white led for 90 cents.<p>the spec sheet says the viewing angle is 20 degrees at 8000 mcd, no other viewing angle info is listed.

no your not alone on that one, just a few days ago i rigged up a 555 astable to blink a single bright blue led for no reason at all. i just got bored. i'm still a student at a electronics school so when i can accomplish something like that it makes me feel like i'm getting my moneys worth.

its just a standard am/fm home radio and it worked great in the house i'm just having trouble picking up signals out in the pole barn possibly because of the metal skin of the building. i put a small cell phone like antenna on the roof and i can hear the music but its tough because of all the static...
