My Dell 1800mp has also failed after 2 years - it refuses to turn on - with the bulb light flashing irregularly, sometimes every 1/2 second, or then slower, which is a symptom which the manual does not describe, of course. Folks, it sounds like we all have the same problem? If it is a hardware issue...
