LED Sign's
Re: LED Sign's
It depends how simple.
Here's a link for a fairly cool and simple sign:
http://www.bobblick.com/techref/project ... dsign.html
Re: LED Sign's
thanks for the info. Now if I can find one that is about twice that size.
Re: LED Sign's
with that size of sign, we're now getting into microcontroller land.
mainly PICs, since there are plenty of projects out there using a PIC to create a sign.
If you have the ability to program PICs, here's a link for you:
http://www.interq.or.jp/japan/se-inoue/e_pic6_2.htm
http://www.zws.com/products/picxie2/
If not, I'd be happy to put the code onto a suitable PIC for you, providing that I get compensation for the price of the PIC (~$5-8 or so).
Re: LED Sign's
Local guy is building some here---the size of a BUSINESS CARD (well, a little thicker). Accessory module connects to your PC for programming the thing. Runs off of lithium batteries.
www.LightTags.com
They were selling them at the fair for $60---I think retail is ~$75...
