Hello,
I'm looking to construct a circuit that would control up to fifty led's with a numeric touchpad.
What I'd like the unit to do is turn on or off a led in the number one position by pushing 1 or 01 on the keypad and so on.
It would be good if the circuit were wireless with a range of about 20 feet but tethered would work just as well.
I have the skill to build the device but don't have electronic design experience.
If anyone could supply me with the info on what would be needed that would be great.
Thanks.

You should check out the Nuts and Volts back issues for a circuit, controlled by a pic, that will do the job. I'll get the issue number for you later.

The nuts and volts back issue is the December 2001, in the tech forum. You can buy back issues on their web site....or send me your address and i can try to scan it.
