does anyone know where in windoz that my outbox mail is stored ? it is a few letter identifier for the folder (example... address book - .wab) but i do not know what the outbox is.
it gets a hang up once in a while,. and then i cannot send out any mail at all until i clear the outbox manually.
i cannot do it thru the outlook express, i have to go into windows somewhere.. i have not done it in such a long time that i cannot remember..
i'll be writing it down this time ;)

all of my outbox mail (sent mail) goes to a folder named "sent".. I just delete it, then right click on trash and hit empty..

i tried to do that, but it would not function.. so i did it manually with deleting the DBX file for my outbox ( sent )

typically when using firefox..if i click on a email link, it uses my outlook express for mail. and when i send, it acts like its going to send,, and just sits there, then i get a dialog box. unknown failure...blah blah blah...
so now i just right click the address and then paste it into my webmail...

I honestly quit using outlook because of all of the issues it had, and eventually went to thunderbird. I love the email filters and such which I could never find in outlook, and runs on any system. (using linux now)

I believe in the system menu in start menu, below the control panel, there's a program labeled default programs and settings. click on that and look for the email client, and change it over to your other email client. also, if that doesnt help, you can try looking in firefox under edit, preferences, and applications, just look for the email mime type and change it to your other email client. that should fix it.
