i have one of these devices, it came with a "home media streamer" (play music files thru your stereo)

i am curious, whats the difference between this unit and a wireless usb wifi?

or what is this device good for anything else ?
all the info i find refers to OmniFi ( rockford fosgate now.)

it's just a standard usb adapter for wifi, so you can hook it up to other computers, or the media center box and have the basic wifi connection on it.

to use it on a normal computer, here's the drivers for it for normal computers in case you dont wish to use it for the media center computer.
