Fairchild Semiconductor Chip

I have a Fairchild chip from an old Southwestern Bell caller id unit. the chip has 42 pins, and the number 1342M. i have searched Fairchild and datasheets site with no luck at finding a data sheet.
one side takes the output from a Motorola 145447 - Calling Line Identification chip, the other goes out to a Goldstar CMOS memory chip. It uses a Hitachi LCD interface board and display.
Does anyone know what kind of chip this is, or where i might find a datasheet for it...
Thanks
