Cordless phone range

That reminds me, We usedto put "extra channels" into cb's, I believe we'd go to 27.905 or some shit,,, I wonder if I could go a few hundred khz outside the normal cordless phone 902-928 or whatever it is... How would I modify the phone for that???

I would be interested in learning about the theory and practice about expanding the frequency range of a CB "adding extra channels".
