Hi,
With all the attention to different unusual numerical days being talked about i though i would
bring up one very unusual date that is almost here now.
I call it "Counters" day but i am open to other suggestions.
At five minutes and six seconds after 4am on the 8th of July this year (2009) the date
and time will be:
04:05:06 07/08/09
he he
Note this wont happen again at least with all the zeros before each digit.
05:06:07 08/09/10
is a little different because the '10' doesnt have a zero in front of it, and
10:11:12 13/14/15
is of course invalid.
Of course since all the numbers are so perfectly consecutive that means the end of the world
will occur at that exact time
"Counters" day coming soon...

Good call.
LOL about the end of the world.

Re: "Counters" day coming soon...
But in europe and many other parts of the world with alternate date format, it will be
04:05:06 08/07/09
So the world will selectively end in part of the world on July 8 and the rest of the world on August 7th then recreated on sept 9 (9/9/9) How about "Julien Symmetry day" for Sept 9th 2009.
Hopefully this will be the day they announce the recession is over.

Hello again,
Hey Joe:
I like your avatar. I should make one too instead of using that default type.
hakle:
Oh yes, good point. Europe will be able to exist a bit longer i guess
My otherworldly source told me that on 09/09/09 at 09:09:09 AM time is going
to reverse
Sambuchi:
Oh that's neat. The 'Sequencial Day' is going to be on the eigth however,
07/08/09 at 04:05:06 AM.
For what it is worth, i like to use the format: YYYYMMDD for some computer
software programming where the date has to be looked up. This allows the
year to be in the position of the most significant, while the day becomes
least significant, which is more in line with a numerical sort of dates.
Printing out for human consumption i usually go with MM/DD/YY or MM/DD/YYYY.

Thanks Al. I copied the symbol out of LTspice. So, I think the last one for this century with the all the same digits will be 12:12:12 on 12/12/12.
Re: "Counters" day coming soon...
I really have to remember this, since I have my birthday the 9.9.09
