Hello,
Im looking for a replacement for the old
National part: LM357
It's an op amp with 20MHz GB and 1mv Voffset.
I'd like to get as close to this part as

Re: Quest for part replacement
What is the operating voltage? The AD8615 has 300uV offset but has 6V max VCC.

Re: Quest for part replacement
MrAl,
If you can use the fet version LF357N, I have 2 of them in my stock of parts. I would be happy to mail them to you.

Re: Quest for part replacement
Hi,
I made a mistake in typing the part number.
It's really LF357.
Russ:
Thanks much, i'll look into the AD parts a bit
more. I certainly like the offset spec.
k7elp60:
Thanks very much for the offer! What i'm looking
for i guess is a replacement part so if i had
to order 1,2,3 or 20 i could, just in case i need
more in the future.
What im not sure of now is if National has
a part out for sale LF257, which would have
better specs, or if that's obsolete too.
Digikey doesnt seem to carry them. If anyone
knows where to find LF257 or LF157 please let
me know that too. TIA.
Take care,
and thanks for the ideas,
Al

Re: Quest for part replacement
MrAl, I did a search and www.digikey.com had over 3000 of the LF347N by National. www.mouser.com, had quite a few different versions.
Hope this helps

Re: Quest for part replacement
Hi k7elp60,
Thanks much for looking up that part, but
the LF347 differs greatly from the LF357 part.
For example, the LF347 only has 4MHz bw, while
the LF357 has (or should i say 'had') a bw
of 20MHz (plus VERY fast 50v/us slew).
If you any of the actual LF357 please let
me know.
Thanks again, and take care,

Re: Quest for part replacement
MrAl,
Sorry for the mistake, I thought I had searched for a LF357 when in fact I had searched for a LF347. If you get in a bind this place had thousands of the LF357:
http://www.hardtofindelectronicparts.com/
and this place had lots of them:
www.escomponents.com
This website actually checks inventory of a lot of distributors: http://www.eem.com/invsearch.asp
