18 inches tall digits... Anyone needs them ?
Tried to attach a picture; and "the board attachment quota has been reached" message pops up.
Will this be ever fixed ?

That link to drop box wants me to sign-up first, before you can view the image.Externet wrote:18 inches tall digits... Anyone needs them ?

There is an easy way too put an image into a posting.
{Firefox}
First: go to the website with the picture you want to post.
Next: With the Right Mouse Button, Click on the Picture, Scroll Down to COPY IMAGE LOCATION, Left Click on it.
Next: Go to Nuts & Volts Forum, and Sign in.
Next: Start A New Topic, or go to REPLY.
Next: In the Text Box, make sure you have a Cursor flashing there.
Next: Left Click on the IMG button.
You'll see [ IMG ] [ /IMG ].
Next: Move the Flashing Cursor between the ] [ Brackets.
Next: Either Right Button Click, Scroll Down to Paste.
Or use your Keyboard, CTRL+V to paste the image there.
Use PREVIEW to check if you did something wrong, or edit it.

Suspected that they would want viewers to sign up... It is all about controlling you.
I cannot even attach a screenshot of the red message "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." when I try to attach a picture.
Trying another way
---->
and
---->
Edited : Nope. did not take

home/externet/Desktop is not a URL.
If you have your own domain then you may upload the image to your web server and put the URL on this forum.
Or there are free image hosting sites. Upload the image, they will give you a link to use here.
Cheers,

Hmmm..............Externet wrote:Suspected that they would want viewers to sign up... It is all about controlling you.

They must have the site settings for "View by members only".
Also, for the people who are just using it at the Free Trial level.
If they don't sign up for the paid service after 30 days from when the Free Trial period ended.
They delete the pictures from their server, opening up server space for another person.
There are other Photo/Image upload sites out there {Like TinyPic}.
I'd check them out, and see what kind of contracts they offer, and if they are free or a paid service.
Ah.....Externet wrote:Trying another way

Trying to use your own computer to act as a Photo Server won't work.
Especially if your computer isn't setup as a server in the first place.
