I usually use Super Lube grease, not the spray, on seals and gaskets if nothing else is specified. It is a PTFE based lubricant that does not melt and has the consistency of Vasoline.
It is available almost anywhere in a tube and in bigger tubs online at a great savings. Just like the old Brylcreem ads said... "A little dab'll do ya"

EDIT:
It looks like the O.P. got a burr and deleted all his previous posts. :sad: So for the benefit of anyone else, the question he posed was for suggestions as to what lube to use on 'O' rings.....
