Do you mean this one?
It will be available some time by the end of this year from .
http://www.catphones.com/en-us/phones/s60-smartphone
It costs about the same as some of the larger i-Pads; $599.
But it does have some impressive features.

i have seen that a color FLIR camera can cost over $1,000 by it self.

That's a very impressive camera. It uses the MSX technology which does not appear to need to cool the camera sensor below ambient like older ones did. at the heart of MSX multi Spectral imaging is the integration of a high resolution visible image with the IR one. Note that the IR resolution is probably not the shown Camera resolution. Take a look at the pervious generation at FLIR and see the IR resolution is much lower than the image implies but there is probably a lot ofsoftware tricks going on to blend the IR and vis image.

The CAT phone specs appear to be somewhat preliminary and lack some of the meat of the details. If its like the prior model, it may only be available at Verizon (the most expensive phone company). I wasn't familiar with CAT phones, if this sensor makes it into more mainstream brands, it could bring on another wave of upgrades the industry is craving for right now. I wonder if it sees through clothes like the Sony camera which lacked the IR filter (LOL, another scandal, call TSA for the body blurring SW they use in the body scanners now)
