DTMF Amplifier

Post by abu »

Hi
Does any one know of a DTMF Amplifier. I need to amplify the incoming DTMF audio tones on a phone line without amplifying the voice audio.
Abu

The tone you hear and the sound you hear are the same path ways.
They both come in on the same amplifier and wires.
You can detect the tone with a DTMF receiver, and have it "logically" switch what ever you want.
If you need it separated from the sound, and still amplified, I would use a repeater DTMF configuration where the signal is decoded by one DTMF reciever, and then recreated on another DTMF transmitter, and on to that separate circuit to isolate the two sounds for what ever use you have in mind.
