strange problem with firefox and earthlink webmail

when i create a new email to send. and i want to select a font color.. i highlight the word, then i select the color pallet, it drops down, i select the color i want ( RED ) then when i click off of the word. ( should show red then ) the word is not the color i select ( looks dark green )
this problem is only when i use firefox and webmail... if i use internet exploder, i do not have this problem, i contacted earthlink, they ran test and said the problem is with firefox.
But this problem is only effecting my webmail..

anyone else have this problem or have any idea how to fix it ?
i have cleared cookies , caches , history etc.
i am out of ideas..
i am not sure if the recipient receives it in correct color or not, have not thought to ask that question yet.

ok, update... i sent myself a email from another computer using firefox, i got the email just the way i sent it,, different colors.. so its either a problem in my laptop or something with FF in my laptop...
