ok.. I blew it, tried to upgrade the MSN Messenger service, said to uninstall the old first, so I tried.. end result, it doesn't work any longer, and the upgrade won't load because its telling me I already have another version installed.. can't find it anywhere to delete it.. ? anyone else have this problem.. I HATE the windows messenger, to hard to use, and doesn't have the camera and add-on's..

Yea, I gave up years ago on it... I use Trillian now. Allows me to use ICQ, Skype, MSN, Yahoo, AOL, and Facebook chat all in 1 messenger... Brilliant.

I'd like to throw Pidgin in the ring. My favorite for years.
