So I have been developing website for about a 1 1/2 years using asp.net and a friend asked me today why I chose to use .net instead of php. My simple answer was it was available to me, and I am comfortable with Microsoft. That got me thinking; I should probably learn a little more about php so the next time someone asks I can have an intelligent answer.
Does anyone have or know where I can find a good comparison (non-bias) on the two asp.net and php?

Re: NET vs. PHP
In a quick search, I could only find articles that lean one way or the other. ASP vs. PHP is quite the debate, almost religious.
When on a Windows box, I use .Net. On Linux servers, I use PHP. In rare case where it's available, I use a Java web framework. Use what you're comfortable with (or curious about) until the next wiz-bang language comes out. Neither ASP or PHP are going the way of the Betamax.
