Computer Vision

Basically we have tested a computer vision platform with a basic linux OpenCV platform. The results were dissapointing but we are keeping in touch with the OpenCV yahoo group. <p>We have also tried using Matlab but the vision addition for camera input is not really up to speed. Does anyone use Matlab with real time cameras?<p>If anyone has any recent information on Computer Vision in Robotic Soccer Applications, I would like to hear more.
