CMOS Line Scan Sensors

I am working on an inexpensive LIDAR design I want to put out as an open source. One problem I am having is actually finding sources for a line scan sensor. I am looking for some in the 1024x16-96 resolutions size that runs at speeds greater than 16Khz. Anyone have any ideas?
