New use for a HCS2-DX

in July of 1997 I assembled my circuit cellar hcs2(Z180) from a kit and got it working then lost it. I recently found it again after some cleaning, hooked it up and it appears to still work. Is there some way to use BASIC or C/C++ to program it instead of what was origanally used? I would hate to toss it just because of not having some way to program it.
