i have the same, and i am totally clueless - i still cannot make heads or tails of it,even tho i have read a lot.
i am trying to find a local class here in my town ( community collage ) that offers any classes, but there are no evening classes.. Grrr
maybe one day it will click for me.
i can use the programmer and burn it to a chip with no problem, i just can't figure out how to use code yet.

Even though PICAXE processors as based on PIC microcontrollers, the way they are programmed is very different from (and much easier than) programming a PIC chip using mplab. You may get some help by posting your questions in the N&V microchip forum.

What kind of a projects are you working on? You might be surprised to learn how easy it is to implement most projects with a PICAXE processor and PICAXE BASIC.

In any case, have fun!

Ron
