Post by directcurrent1 » Mon Jun 04, 2012 8:29 pm

 Hay nut and volts folks, I need some big help here. I want to build my own Halloween animatronic Puppet, like the once you see in store like a pirate skull moving his head and other parts and speeking a few word or sing a song. At one time Nuts and Volts had a story on how to build one.I like very much to ask your help in finding any information on this story or any information on how to build one. I know how to make some figurengs of the once I want to make but I need info on the mechanics and electronis and where to get parts for something like this. Can you plese help ?????

Do you also get the E-version in your email? If so, go to the link there and when it loads, look at the
URL. It should look something like this: http://nutsvolts.texterity.com/nutsvolts/201206?sub_id=****#pg1
where the **** is your id number. See where it says 201206? Change that to 200809 and you'll go to
the first page of that issue. At that point, you can get to page 34 pretty easily.

Hope that helps.

Go here to login directly: http://pubsrv.texterity.com/cgi-bin/nv_request.cgi

Your user ID is your NV# on your magazine. Just use NV and the first 6 digits after it. Some labels print 7 digits for some reason.. Just use the first 6 though..

Your password if your 5 digit zip code.

You can customize this info too.. Just login to your subscription and update your information: https://www.pubservice.com/subinfo.aspx?PC=NV

The kit also comes with an article print.

Hi DC! I sent you a private message with links and details on the two projects I wrote about in Nuts and Volts. In the meantime, you might want to have a look here for details on the haunted house I put on a few years back:

Hope this helps. :)
