Error in Smiley's Workshop #45 March 2012 N&V

Post by joepardue » Wed Feb 22, 2012 10:25 am

Well, this is embarassing, but I got int8_t and uint8_t in my little quiz.

On page 75 where it says:
What is the largest number that can be stored in an uint8_t variable? 127
What is the smallest number that can be stored in a uint8_t variable? -128
What is the largest number that can be stored in an int8_t variable? 255
What is the smallest number that can be stored in an int8_t variable? 0

It should have the uint8_t and int8_t reversed:
What is the largest number that can be stored in an int8_t variable? 127
What is the smallest number that can be stored in a int8_t variable? -128
What is the largest number that can be stored in an uint8_t variable? 255
What is the smallest number that can be stored in an uint8_t variable? 0

Sorry about that,
Joe Pardue (aka typoman)
