Re: adding Aux Input jack to auto radio
Hey thanks so much again for some valuable teaching... No I don't have a scope, but I have toyed with the idea of trying to find one off CraigsList locally, but usually too expensive for my tastes, but I will keep looking--I don't think I'll ever tire of trying to hack things, so I might as well get...

Re: adding Aux Input jack to auto radio
Hey thanks again guys... I've searched high and low, and can't seem to find a schematic on the unit. I've also looked at many other posts that found certain "areas" or "points" that new signals could be input, but on my unit, I can't find anything similar to their posts--in other...

Re: Hardwiring wireless speakers?
oops...That wasn't the page I thought it was...I had found a page that detailed the transmission over 900mhz..I think the above is using the AC lines in house..

Not sure if this would help any, but something I found...I have the two circuit drawings saved, but not sure how to get them here for viewing. But they are shown on the page link above...

adding Aux Input jack to auto radio
Have been studying this for several days--found quite a few posts about it, but no clear answers, so I thought I'd turn to my favorite answer crowd for help... I have a 2001 Honda Accord that I'd replaced the factory radio/cassette/cd player unit because it wouldn't play my home recorded CDs. I have...

Re: Hardwiring wireless speakers?
Well, I THOUGHT I had figured it out....testing each after I'd made the mod, seemed to work fine. However, when set up, still have basically the same problem, and transmitter, receiver still working too... I've searched high and low, and still found very little info. However, I did find some patent ...

Re: Old technology but...importing of WAV files not working.
Thanks so much guys...good info. I have found a bit more too. I downloaded a program called BurnAware (free, as the Nero just seemed SO expensive for what little I needed--but then again, if it cures the problem and eliminates the headaches, then it just might be worth it..haha) It is able to burn i...

Re: Hardwiring wireless speakers?
I think I might have made it work... I found a 30 pin Sony IC that shows up as a "am/fm" chip when I looked up the number on it... So through "trial and error" I found a pin on it that I could input the audio signal, and then attached a ground to a pin on the little antenna box.....

Re: Old technology but...importing of WAV files not working.
No, don't think I can. Only way is to go via the SCSI cable into the unit, from the Plextor CD unit. Again, I've found another post or two out in netland that speak of importing WAVs as normal operation for them, but these posts are a few years old, and I doubt I'd be able to connect with anyone spe...

Old technology but...importing of WAV files not working...
I have an aging multi-track audio recorder (Fostex VF16) that is still doing a great job for me (so why upgrade?? haha) and as long as it continues to work for my needs, I'm happy. However, I've gotten to an area now where I want to import someone else's audio WAV files into my unit, so I can furthe...

Re: Hardwiring wireless speakers?
Wow! Lots of good info there...just tried the cell phone...no noises when It was powered back up, so I guess it's not something as simple as that. Also, can't seem to find any relation to electrical appliances and such kicking on and off. I do have an older 900 house phone but it's in another room. ...
