Re: Paralleling circuit breakers
Oh I thought the breakers were equal. I was only considering it for equal breakers and the following would only apply if the beakers have the same trip rating. So if the wires were minimum acceptable size, and the breakers have the same rating, as they carry current closer to the breaker trip point ...

Re: Paralleling circuit breakers
Something that could allow effective paralleling of circuit breakers is seperate wiring for each breaker. The key to best current sharing would be to make the gauges of wires in each breaker's circuit the minimum size you can use.

Re: The Eternal $19.00 Radio
Good thing you knew they were there. I wouldn't doubt that I ordered an SMD fuse, circuit protector, IC protector, when there was a spare or two on the board that I missed.

Re: The Eternal $19.00 Radio
They must have figured the better appearing feature would more than offset with increased sales revenue, and subsequently profits, the cost of the two extra transistors

Re: 4V phone charger
I have a Samsung Galaxy J7. I've tried different chargers, and haven't noticed much if any difference even, with trying one of the Samsung chargers here. I don't know which one came with the phone, probably a (Samsung) 2A one. The way it seems to work, it could be helpful to me if the power input fr...

Re: 4V phone charger
I didn't think of diodes. Maybe diodes in series with a kind of high power white LED. Then I wouldn't have to cut the charger cord wires, just remove some insulation, which on other things I've done by melting with a lighter Although just adding diodes in series needs only one wire bared but also cut.

Re: The Eternal $19.00 Radio
We were given Realistic brand LOVE radios for selling so many grade school fund drive raffle tickets. It was about four inches in diameter round and had a loop of chain at the top that was big enough to slip over the head, if so desired. My brothers and I had an interest in AM radios for doing dxing...

4V phone charger
Hi, I noticed that on my last phone, leaving it on charge too long ruined the battery because the battery's voltage range for longest life is lower than the fully charged level. I thought of trying to find a charger that puts out only 4.somethingV instead of the more common 5V. I've been turning thi...

Re: The Eternal $19.00 Radio
I've had a lot of Huffies. If bungie cords existed back then, I don't recall knowing of them. On that stingray, I recall slipping fishing rods up through the short sissy bar on the back. The the reel end would then drop down into the little frame triangle under the seat where a caliper brake would m...

Re: The Eternal $19.00 Radio
My first radio was an AM/police band one. I found it on the side of a main road in the nearby county park when I was riding my Huffy stingray bike. The person might have tossed it out the car window when driving because it had a reception problem and could only pick up the strongest AM radio station...

A thought about that question occurred to me. Recall that protons have positive charge.how does voltage go from positive to negative?

Re: Remove Back Cover - Hanns.G Monitor
Reminds me of an adapter I was wanting to open up. I don't think it applies to your monitor, but the two pieces of the plastic case were actually glued together. I used a hacksaw to cut around the whole joint perimeter. There might be some tabs on one face of the case that latch into the other side ...

Re: fading away
So far the application of grease to the long threaded rod seems to have solved the problem. decided to go with synthetic grease supplied by the first well-known supplier of synthetic oil for the consumer market way back when.

Re: fading away
That's a good idea. I tried that and determined that the noise level of just the motor unit running was okay. That led me to the thought that the squealing noise comes from long threaded rod squealing against the long sleeve it's in. I'm thinking of applying a new coating of grease to the threaded r...
