Ir remote’s don’t work anywhere near the THZ range cutting off very short as this is way past the giga Hz range and has soo many cycles quantitatively larger than a radio or general IR having hundreds of times if not thousands of time more saturation and information than most, leaving not only ...

By the way, have you noticed that the BetaBrite remote control buttons are hard to push,
or is mine just slightly defective?
Usually this happens when remote controls wear out, and I know how to fix that problem,
but ALL the buttons were like that since I got it.

Terra Hz usually sees through walls. Which frequency sees through what depends on the material. For example if a radio works inside something, it is on a frequency that goes thru those walls. An Infrared TV remote uses TeraHz, but a cordless phone is around a GigaHz. Which goes through walls better...

I assume those chips are obsolete now.
Roman Black is easy and sounds good at 1KByte/sec.

I thought this was about making it cold. Is lithium bromide an "natural gas"? From where in nature does it come? I thought it's an inorganic salt with theraputic effects on manic depressive people. How about having a swimming pool as a heat sink under a reflective roof, and by pumping the ...

natural gas cooling systems

This is probably not relevant to cars but is a lot of methods. 1.CO2 is sometimes recycled from smoke stacks and used to make "gassy fast food beverages". It comes in tanks and is mixed with the syrup and H2:O in the machine. However, if you rapidly spray the tank into a radiator with a fa...

I agree with the LCD. The dots are small and the display is the only kind you can get that doesn't flicker. DLP in theaters doesn't flicker but home versions do. When shopping for big TVs wave your hand in front of them and if they flicker you'll see lots of hands. Look closely and see if you can se...

Power-On-Reset (POR) can simply clear the counter...why not? Also, with only one instruction you can program to do anything, guess which one. COPY address1 TO address2 No need to waste a byte on the instruction code itself because it would always be the same. You just need a few "magic" ad...

The kind of paint on the wall may have a large effect on the reflectance of IR too. Try bouncing off aluminum foil? Exactly, if the camera can see direct but not reflected IR, then the surface is not reflecting. Imagine trying finding a green cloth in a dark room with a red lamp. Even if there is n...

Here are some similar 128KB SRAM that seem nearly identical to me.
At least one of these is sold by Jameco.
Digi-Key probably has them all.

The problem with MP3 chips is how to record sound in MP3 format with a PIC?
PCM and PWM encodings are very simple. The MP3 encoding process is very complicated.

A playback-only system (PCM/PWM) would need only a binary counter and an EPROM, no PIC.

Try dimming a 300 watt light bulb to the point where it is almost out except for a faint red glow.
50W of power might be about right for the effect.

I first noticed that video cameras can see infrared while doing something similar.

well the cheapest PIC compatible digital camera memory flash cards are a lot more
than 2MB but there's no requirement to fill it all up.

2MB is probably the biggest size of DIP packaged flash memory I've seen (as a BIOS),
and everything after that is probably only made too small too solder by hand.
