he is using outlook.com, the reason i said hotmail, was because when i log on with my hotmail at work, it shows up as a outlook.com account,, any way i went thru a bunch of his settings.. can't remember exactly what i did , but his email is working again now.. i told him he needs to turn off that TA...

outlook mystery co-worker has a mystery for you all to figure out.. for some reason he is not getting any emails sent to him, but he is getting sporadic junk mail. , but nothing addressed to him. we have looked all thru the settings, and can't figure anything out. i looked on the web and some people...

well that didn't do any good,, the unit still stops responding,, if i disconnect the battery, and then reattach, the unit starts working again.. but stops again after a while.. i think i'll use that link now for ordering that RX3310A chip.. the other links that are posted.. looks like same chip, but...

ok, still playing around with this thing,, some bad design i think,, i believe that was the demise of this item, when it works it is great.. if i got super fresh batteries, it will work,, but if it gets down to 3v, it fails,, it has to be above 3.2 volts to operate...anything higher and it starts to...

is there anyone here that is into wifi radio set up ? i know just enough to get basic things working. ( watching YT videos ) but a lot of stuff i do not quite understand. some things like changing adapter settings. - i see videos of people setting up several radios and they never seem to go into the...

ok,, update.. i think i got it solved.. apparently you have to keep really fresh batteries in this thing.. most stuff that runs off of 3v can still function 2.5v not this thing.. played with it a few hrs last night til it failed. the voltage has to stay at 2.6v but the chip can operate at 5v, but i ...

i probed the antenna.. the short burst i see, looks nice, but that don't tell much..

i have no idea on the protocol. nor the equipment to figure that part out..
also the transmit is too short to for me to get a reading without special equipment..
but i am still pretty sure it is the receiver is the issue..

have used fresh batteries.. no change,, the thing work and then it doesn't ..the min voltage for the unit is 2.6 V, and it uses 2 AAA batteries. the transmitter works just fine. maybe i'll connect the display to my power supply and ramp up the voltage some and see if there is a change. the transmitt...
