you can get SSL as high as 100 amps or more...
i got a bunch that are good for 25 amps. i think the input is 24 volt range,, i'd have to look..,

if the 2 sensors do not share the same leg of power, it will do more than just pop a breaker, it'll blow both sensors out, because you will have a clash of 240v i never tried triac based sensors for your set up, but have done the relay type sensors, and they worked just fine,, i have even done a ove...

have you tried the gold plated ones ? not sure if the ones on the tv or other units, are gold plated or not..i hear that gold never corrodes.

check out the pet store they sold them for clicker training
petco or petsmart etc..
